You can request an absentee ballot for the July 14, 2020 election NOW. Ballots are not generally available until approximately 30 days prior to the election date, but voters can request one now and we will send the ballot(s) as soon as they become available.
Voters can visit the State Absentee Ballot Request site HERE to request the ballot(s) be sent.
Voters can call the Town Office at 563-5168 and request the ballot(s) be sent.
The office is currently closed to the public, but someone is working in the office Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm and will be happy to get you signed up to receive the ballot(s) when available. One application will get you both State and Municipal ballots.
If you are enrolled in a party but want to change parties, you must make that change by filling out a new voter registration card no later than Monday, June 29, 2020. Please have ID available.
If you are currently unenrolled (not enrolled in a specific party) you will only receive the State Referendum Ballot and the Municipal Ballot. If you want to vote a specific party candidate in this Primary you must enroll in that party by filling out a new voter registration card. This can be done by unenrolled voters right up to and including election day - please have ID available.
Call 563-5168 with any questions.
