Submit your photos for the Comprehensive Plan!

The Town of Damariscotta Comprehensive Plan Committee invites community members to submit their favorite images of Damariscotta for possible use in the updated Comprehensive Plan.

The Town is currently completing a draft of Damariscotta’s Comprehensive Plan and would like to include images from the community within the document. Images should be of high-quality and may be used in the final Plan as well as any marketing materials.

Our goal is to collect photos of your favorite places in Damariscotta. Photos can be submitted through this form on the Town’s website.

A Comprehensive Plan provides policy guidance on a wide variety of topics, including housing, natural and historic resources, economic development, recreation, transportation, and more. It also guides future budgeting decisions. The document is expected to be released for public review, comment, and feedback in the Spring of 2024 and is intended to provide a new, shared vision for the community for the next 10 years. The last Comprehensive Plan was adopted in 2014.
