The Cemetery Trustees typically meet monthly, except for a combined July and August meeting in mid-July. Citizens are welcome to attend.

Occasionally the schedule is different, so please call the Town Office to confirm the date and time. Meetings are also posted online on the Town Calendar.

Overview

Cemetery Trustees shall have responsibility for the operation, care, and maintenance of the municipal cemeteries and full authority to do and perform whatever may be necessary to carry into full effect the management of Town cemeteries.

The Trustees shall have oversight of the maintenance of these cemeteries: 

  • Hillside Cemetery
  • Church Street
  • Bethlehem Cemetery
  • Back Meadow Road
  • Walpole Cemetery
  • Bristol Road

together with any other lots or areas the Town may be required to maintain by law.
