Comprehensive Plan Public Workshop: Future Land Use

One of two public workshops to solicit input from the community on the Future Land Use section of Damariscotta's Comprehensive Plan. 

Building on the feedback provided at the three past public workshops on our village, housing, and recreation, as well as the community survey, these two workshops will be diving into the issues and considerations that will inform and shape the Town's future land use policies.

Should more housing be encouraged in our neighborhood? What about more farming?      Do you know of special natural areas that should be protected?      Are there any amenities, services, or businesses you might like to see in town?      These questions and more will be discussed and we want to know what you think!

To encourage as much community input as possible, the meeting on Jan. 20 and on Jan. 23 will present the same materials and cover the same content. Come to whichever meeting is more convenient for you--or join us for both!     The future of Damariscotta is in your hands.
