Historic Preservation Review Commission Meeting

A regularly scheduled quarterly meeting of the Damariscotta Historic Preservation Review Commission.
In addition to any formal business on the Commission's agenda, this meeting will include a presentation by Commissioner Roger Panek.
Roger Panek will discuss his experience with architectural restoration and conservation. The presentation includes a number of images that will showcase projects Roger Panek has worked on, including:
- Masonry styles and problems observed in 1980s Boston and Cambridge, MA;
- Non-historic modifications in absence of Historic District Regulations;
- Examples of historical reconstructions and restorations from Roger Taylor Panek Architects files; and
- Restoration of the Pemaquid Mill in Bristol, ME from 2019 to the present.
